The company was founded in 1917 by the desire of our forefather Guido, as a farm dedicated to the cultivation of arable land and the farming and production of wine for self-consumption and for retail sale.

Those were the years between the first and second World Wars and in the evening many labourers stopped in Cantina Passarini to drink a glass of wine or to buy a flask for the house. More often than not to be in company.

The atmosphere was familiar and the people were as sincere as their house wines.

THE 1960s

The company completely changed.

Guido’s son, Luigi, graduated from the Conegliano high school of oenology and joined the company by personally engaging in the development of vine cultivation and wine production.

Tradition and passion continue in the still family-run company, with an area of 30 hectares of which 3 are vineyards.

The company has greater production potential deriving from the purchase of grapes from other farms in the Veneto region, with which it has a close collaboration that has been consolidated over the years and with whom it shares its values and production style.

The intense investments, both structural and technological, in recent years, have allowed us to offer products with a high quality/price ratio.

The company follows a strict agronomic and oenological protocol, based on respect for the environment and the production of healthy wines.

In 2017, vegan certification was obtained, after a demanding conversion development project.
2019 was a new important stage for Passarini, with the bottling of the first certified organic, vegan and DOC wine: 19/17 – Pinot Grigio Doc delle Venezie.

For some years now, a historic cross-country running race has been held, now in its 30th edition, the famous “race with frogs”, given the wealth of water and rivers in the area.
